FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What picture can I use?
Our artwork is hand painted so the quality does not have to be perfect I am able to work on photos that are of low definition, screenshots etc. However, even this has its limitations. You can always drop me an email to make sure a photo can be used.
How long does it take?
The processing time depends on how complex the artwork will be. If I am working on just a head that will be done with a costume it usually takes around 2 days. If it's a whole person, pet or a couple it will taker time. Usually it will be anything between 2 and 7 days. I would recommend contacting me prior to purchase if in any doubt.
How do I upload the photo?
You can do it by clicking add photo when making the purchase or send it to our email: info@sharpstrokez.com
What techniques are used to create the artwork?
Our techniques include mixed media watercolours, traditional aoil, black and white pen that create an outstanding combination of textures and colours. Everything is hand crafted for detailed and one of a kind look.
How do you ship it?
It depends on a country but our main providers are UPS and FedEx for U.S. and Canada and DHL for U.K. and Europe. All are sent with real time tracking so you are totally in control of whereabouts of your parcel.
Whre is it printed?
We have fulfilment centres around the USA, UK and Europe. It ensures that shipping time is as short as possible, no taxes or duties.
What media do you use?
Our artwork is printed directly onto top quality polycotton canvas using archival inks and stretched over 0.75" solid pine stretcher bars. Your artwork can wrap around the edges of the canvas, or we offer a number of edge options for you to select from. These options include pixel wrap, mirrored edges, solid color borders, and much more.
Prints are made on high quality premium paper with a satin finish. The Latex ink used is “eco-friendly” and provides good scratch resistance and “odor-less” prints. The Latex ink also contains pigments that are fade, water and chemical resistant, and the bright, vivid colors help produce highly saturated prints with more ink density.
